Tax Season 2025: New Secure Portal and Updated Fee Schedule

The 2025 tax season is officially here! At SLH Accounting, we are committed to making your filing process as smooth, secure, and transparent as possible. As the CRA opens for electronic filing on February 23, 2026, we want to ensure you are ready to hit the ground running.
Step 1: Secure Onboarding via TaxDome
This year, we are elevating our security standards. We have implemented TaxDome, a high-end secure client portal, to protect your personal and financial information through encryption
How it works:
Invitation: Once you confirm you are working with us, you will receive an email invitation to TaxDome.
The Organizer: You will complete a "Client Profile Form" (Organizer), which takes about 20 minutes.
Secure Uploads: You can upload all your slips (T4, T5, tuition, etc.) directly to the portal. We will no longer accept sensitive documents via regular email.
Mobile Access: We strongly recommend downloading the TaxDome app (iOS/Android) for easy communication and document scanning.
Step 2: Understanding the 2025 Fees
To help you budget for your filing, here is a breakdown of our current fee schedule:

Note: Prices are estimates and subject to GST. Additional charges may apply for complex returns or missing information.
Step 3: Important Deadlines & Tips
To ensure your return is handled with the care it deserves, please keep these dates and notes in mind:
Submission Deadline: Submit all documentation by Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to avoid late fees or service decline due to high volume.
Be Prepared: Have all your documents ready before starting the TaxDome Organizer to make the process more efficient.
Consultations: If you have specific questions, we offer 20-minute consultation meetings for $75.00.
